A lot of outdoor brands say "field tested." Fewer actually mean it.
For us, backcountry-tested means the gear went out with someone chasing elk at 8,000 feet, or sitting in a blind before sunrise in weather that wasn't cooperating, or getting hauled out after a pack-out that lasted longer than planned. If a piece doesn't hold up to that, it doesn't matter how good it looks on a hanger, it's not going in the lineup.
That standard is why our hunting gear gets built the way it does: durable fabrics, functional details, nothing decorative that gets in the way of actually doing the work. Hunting isn't a lifestyle aesthetic for us. It's one of the reasons this brand exists in the first place.
